White Marble Effect with a Gold Trim Band

The desk's standout feature is its finish. Every exterior surface — the front face, the sides and the raised surround — is wrapped in a white marble effect, with soft grey veining flowing diagonally across the panels under a clean semi-gloss sheen. It gives the desk the look of solid stone at a fraction of the weight and cost.

Running around the front and sides where the upper surround meets the lower cabinet is a slim gold trim band. That single champagne-metallic line is the desk's glamour detail: against the cool white marble it creates a refined two-tone, white-and-gold look that reads as high-end boutique rather than plain office furniture.

Curved Counter and Raised Backboard

Rather than a flat box, the counter's front edge bows gently outward toward the client, softening the whole silhouette. Behind the flat work surface, a taller curved backboard arcs upward — it adds height and presence to the unit while acting as a subtle privacy screen that keeps the staff-side clutter out of the client's line of sight. A small grommet in the countertop keeps cables tidy, so a monitor or card reader can sit cleanly on top.

Built on MDF for a Flawless Finish

The desk is constructed on an MDF (medium-density fiberboard) core. MDF is ideal here: it forms the curved counter edge and backboard cleanly, gives a dense, uniform surface for the marble-effect wrap to sit flat and seamless, and holds the finish far more evenly than open-grain solid wood — so the veining looks continuous and the gold line stays crisp across the whole piece.
